Stainless steel and black ceramic case: This watch features a 44mm Oystersteel case with a black ceramic bezel. The case is water-resistant to an incredible 3,900 meters (12,800 feet), making it suitable for professional deep-sea diving.
Black dial with blue accents: The black dial features blue applied numeral hour markers and luminous hands. The date window is located at 3 o’clock.
Black Oysterflex strap: The watch comes with a black stainless, which is a flexible and durable stainless strap that is comfortable to wear all day long. Helium escape valve: The watch has a helium escape valve, which is a safety feature that allows helium gas to escape from the watch during decompression after a deep dive.
Caliber 3235 movement: The watch is powered by the Rolex Caliber 3235, which is a self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement is chronometer-certified, meaning that it has been tested and certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) to be accurate to within -4/+6 seconds per day.
Special edition: This is a special edition Sea-Dweller Deepsea that was released in 2012 to commemorate James Cameron’s historic dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench. The watch features a blue “Deepsea” inscription on the dial and a blue seconds hand.
